There are definite differences between Autechre and Gescom specific to their situation, not necessarily involving the business/distribution/label side of things. It's my understanding that Gescom is Sean and Rob (Autechre) along with a few other collaborators. (Andy Maddocks, Bola are suspect) Musically speaking, Gescom tend to produce different compositions than Autechre proper. (Keynell, EP1, EP2, Minidisc) To my ear they sound a little more improvised and a little less like studio tracks. But that's just conjecture.
